A Detailed Day - The Wedding of Donna & Viet
Saturday, May 24th, 2008 was a glorious and beautiful summer day in the city of Toronto. For Donna and Viet it was also the perfect day to get married!
A Bishop Strachan Old Girl, Donna & Viet chose the stunning Bishop Strachan School Chapel as the site for their nuptial vows. The chapel was decorated in soft white, pink and red for a look that truly spoke to the femininity of the venue and it's own personal beauty and history.

Later, a Vietnamese tea ceremony was performed for immediate family on the mezzanine level of the luxurious, Liberty Grand - Governor's Room. The reception was a detailed and sumptious affair of a six course asian-fusion menu intermixed with heartfelt speeches from the couple's parents and the couple themselves.
This wedding was truly a wedding of details, Donna & Viet worked hard to ensure that no small touch was forgotten, no guest left feeling unthanked. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society were made in lieu of gifts but the couple still presented a beautiful candy buffet and sweet table for guests to enjoy in the late evening. Beautiful images were captured by the amazing Ikonica under lead of Gillian.
The most spectacular detail however was with the bride herself, who wore not only her very own beautiful wedding gown but her mothers as well. In total, three gowns were chosen - a white traditional western wedding gown, her mothers wedding dress and a breathtaking criss-crossed red evening gown.
Congratulations Donna & Viet!
